I have the absolute pleasure of showing some of the work I was involved in for EVE Vanguard Solstice.
I was mainly responsible for the creation of the jungle within this level. This involved working alongside level design to create the block out and gameplay space for this area, chatting with the concept team to develop the look of the trees and plants and sculpting the final organic assets. I also dressed the area using a combination of foliage spawners and some amazing tools developed by the tech team here at CCP.
Special thanks to our material Master Matt Southall for all the shader work on the trees and foliage; our tech wizards, Amritha and Lukas for developing the roots, ivy and vine tools and rockNroll legend Stephen for all the amazing jungle rock sculpts that were propagated in the jungle.
